About the Role
Al Khanji Medical and Nursing Services is looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced Caregiver / Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality support and assistance to clients in Doha.
The ideal candidate should be compassionate, patient, responsible, and physically capable of assisting clients with personal care, mobility, meals, daily activities, and other basic care needs while maintaining their dignity, comfort, privacy, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, professional, and respectful care to clients.
- Assist elderly, disabled, ill, injured, or newborn clients with daily activities.
- Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs.
- Assist with mobility, walking, transfers, and transportation as required.
- Support clients with prescribed medications as directed and within the scope of the role.
- Assist with physical therapy exercises and mobility activities as instructed.
- Prepare and serve meals according to the client's dietary requirements.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
- Assist with shopping, errands, appointments, and other daily activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the client's care and comfort.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition, concerns, or unusual incidents promptly.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Maintain client confidentiality, privacy, dignity, and professional boundaries at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Nursing Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, or in a similar care-related role.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response.
- CPR certification or relevant training is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy and dignity.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Physically capable of assisting clients with mobility and daily care activities.
- Willingness to follow professional, health, safety, and care standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
