QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication in English & Arabic skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in Sales or working with a sports club.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including word-processing, Microsoft Office products, e-mail, and spreadsheets.
- Acknowledge or interest in sports in general.
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and service-oriented with the ability to get on well with a wide variety of people.
- Motivation to work through busy shifts, dependability and energy level.
- Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Good numeracy skills and the ability to use database systems for record keeping.
- Use of social media software.
- Willingness and ability to be flexible.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be the first point of contact for members and visitors entering the Academy with any queries they may have and maintain any attendance information that may be required.
- To serve refreshments to VIP clients and members, if needed.
- To provide administrative support to the Academy members, team and management.
- Whilst track and trace is required to ensure all members are appropriately logged.
- To update the screen with messages, and to ensure copies of any information to be either put on screen or put up as information notices in the Academy are also published.
- To deal with sales from the Academy with the approval of the Manager in charge.
- To record, maintain the data related to services and membership of the Academy.
- Assist in the organization of events and courses.
- Maintain the booking systems and act as an information source on all aspects of the services.
- Secretarial work including typing, use of word processors and word processing facilities, use of photocopiers and binding machines, filing, making arrangements for special events, and maintaining Academy data on the computer.
- Answering questions from customers, prospective customers, and referring customers to the contact point from which they can obtain further information.
- Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by the management to his/her nominee.
ADDITIONAL REMARKS: (If Any)
The Receptionist will be responsible for providing her services for all Departments under the care of International Spearfishing Academy (ISA).
